Hot coffee can be good and if it's bitter as hell as you said... Well, I think there's a possibility it's been brewed wrong. Or just way too much to fit that person's preference. Frappucinos are sweeter! The coffee accentuates it instead of being dominant. There are a bunch of ways to make a good coffee drink.
