Huh. Good question. I was always working, so I guess I didn't really do much on my own. I'd watch TV, read some magazines. Shop.

Or I'd do lessons. Singing, dancing, acting, etc.

I mean, I was still bored, but at least I was doing something to pass the time.

Most of them. Some of them I can't use at all, though I suspect it has more to do with laws imposed by this city rather than the laws of physics.

Do you ever worry that the other person won't understand what you're trying to convey? Some of the little faces are a little hard to discern sometimes.

I'll have to implement these; it saves me quite a bit of trouble. It's difficult to gauge tone over text alone, and then there's the possibility of miscommunication, or unintended offense.
It's like a little picture, actually. Why didn't I think of this? We can illustrate things over the bulletin as well.
Sorry, I'm going on about these little pictures, but in reality, I don't have much to add to your question. The abilities I was granted are completely inert here. It's not as if I was particularly interested in needing them, but it's inconvenient nonetheless.
