so this was going to be a post about a database i'm working on with some other people and hopefully more people but one of those people seems to be unreachable now so this is also an APB for Gregor.

onto other shit: we've been working on a document that keeps all the facts we know and all the theories we're currently trying to prove/disprove. it's encrypted for obvious reasons but click the link and I'll get you access no problem [ for all those who have come across his videos on how to use encryptions and how to make yourself purely anonymous, fear not! the stupid naming conventions continue: satanwasababyboomer.doc but its safe to assume that anyone who clicks gains both access to view and edit pretty quickly. ]

this tech is pretty old for me. i'm doing what i can to make it both secure AND accessible. if you're talented with early 2000s technology c'mon down. maybe you can make something work that i can't.

i have to admit i'm not the greatest at keeping on top of things like this. could really use the extra hands in general. there are some other people looking to do the same thing as this but hard copy. mingle with them if that's your bag. assuming they reply here (please reply here if/when you see this... if you want to).

also just for my own curiosities: calling all tech people. engineers, programmers, whatever. let's put our heads together. help one another out.

It would be an ineffective punishment. When I decide I'm going to kill someone, it's for a reason. Taking away the knowledge that I'd done it would only ensure that I would do it again.

This place operates almost like a computer simulation so, you might be right. Worth trying.

I have a personal theory that it's also learning from us in order to build a better simulation. Not sure how yet to test this but I'm open to ideas.

that aside, i try not to do the whole betrayal thing given my personal experience with that. good to know, though. do you have a preferred specialty? if its private, I can message directly.

So far i've not been able to do much beyond make a fucking document and a couple videos. came here with a script phone and haven't been able to get any of them to work. hard time finding scraps around to make anything but its good to know who else is around with similar skillsets.

that's fucking wild. i've always wondered if we ever got to that place what the biological and psychological differences of being born off world might be. if any, hell there might be none. but at least in my world there is some level of mental fortitude and physical excellence needed to deal with all that darkness and isolation for extended periods of time. and also just the whole leaving and re-entering thing.

Part of me wonders if there is a pattern in people. One person thinks we're all here to be punished (maybe more, but one in particular) and there's a lot of people with "abilities", but not everyone. So its not that.

Polling people means trusting everyone to participate honestly, though. So here we are.

It happened in the government building across from the train station. It may be that that is a significant location, or that others were in the building.
