[ HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. okay, okay, okay. he'll press enter. ]

friendly neighborhood anonymous here.

so this was going to be a post about a database i'm working on with some other people and hopefully more people but one of those people seems to be unreachable now so this is also an APB for Gregor.

onto other shit: we've been working on a document that keeps all the facts we know and all the theories we're currently trying to prove/disprove. it's encrypted for obvious reasons but click the link and I'll get you access no problem
[ for all those who have come across his videos on how to use encryptions and how to make yourself purely anonymous, fear not! the stupid naming conventions continue: satanwasababyboomer.doc but its safe to assume that anyone who clicks gains both access to view and edit pretty quickly. ]

this tech is pretty old for me. i'm doing what i can to make it both secure AND accessible. if you're talented with early 2000s technology c'mon down. maybe you can make something work that i can't.

i have to admit i'm not the greatest at keeping on top of things like this. could really use the extra hands in general. there are some other people looking to do the same thing as this but hard copy. mingle with them if that's your bag. assuming they reply here (please reply here if/when you see this... if you want to).

also just for my own curiosities: calling all tech people. engineers, programmers, whatever. let's put our heads together. help one another out.

ps: if you want to annoy someone that's pissing you off I recorded fart sounds, you're welcome.

I see. In your theory, we are then simulacra or facsimiles of ourselves, information-driven copies of ourselves that are no longer tethered to the reality that we came from.
I've seen theories like these of copies; if we can 3d-model buildings, why can we not model human beings? Though research of this fashion is banned in the Akademiya - the academic body where I come from - so I haven't seen a lot of theorising on that matter.
If you're open to an interview, I would be very grateful. I don't have anything in the way of compensation, but... more heads the better?
To answer your questions:

1) Jnana energy is difficult to explain, but grossly simplified: it a cumulation of life energy, knowledge, and emotion. We had a terminal called the 'Akasha Terminal' which can transform dreams and life energy into Jnana Energy, which in turn can create a simulated dream world where one can exist with an number of ideal factors in place - for example, you are able to see your loved ones there, even if they have already died, or been displaced. It isn't a revival; it is merely a simulacra. But it requires massive amounts of Jnana energy, and is most effective when hooked up to a network of people.

2) The theory accounts for the lack of powers in that the 'settings' set by the dream either restricts the amount of ambient elemental particles - or in this case, particulates needed to contain the level of powers - or it allows our powers to continue to exist, but without us being able to observe its effects, effectively prevent them from actualising. A friend of mine has a divine spirit that came with him and whom he is able to access, but his spirit seems to have difficulty doing more than the usual. Further testing will be needed to determine if the powers are hitting a 'wall', as in prevention - or its effects merely are not observable.

3) In past cases, those who disappear from the dream are because their Jnana Energy has been overharvested. In other words, they are dead.

[ ... that is not the end, kaveh thinks, that he wants for gregor. he hadn't known the man for too long, but... it's not right, that sort of thinking. there's a long beat in which a message is pending but nothing is actually sent, and then: ]

Um, I drew up a quick sketch of Gregor as the last I'd seen of him.
Perhaps we could put these up? Just in case anyone not on the network happens to see or know something. I know not everyone knows how to use these things, or spend time looking at every message.

I appreciate all this food for thought, in all honesty. We've been bouncing these ideas back and forth without reprieve, so having another perspective is excellent.
Alright. I will update your document with a few notes, and I'll contact you for the interview. Ah... I can, can I? It says you're anonymous, but you're still reachable? Do I just reach out to you here?
Lastly, allow me to help. Between one or two people being handcuffed, what's the difference?
Though I suggest that we use this as an opportunity as well. Perhaps tape, thumbtacks sticky gum and other types of adhesives ought to be used in tandem, just to see if having different ways of affixing the pages to the wall will work or not.
From a 'everything getting reset' perspective, I mean.
Um. Don't take on this burden by yourself, alright?

[ deep well of completely unnecessary empathy... tingling... because those sure were a lot of unaddressed bullet points. kaveh looks at the screen. hm. ]

Oh, it's that kaomoji thing.
And a terrible pun, but I suppose it's warranted given the circumstances.
Alright, I'll swing back in touch. Perhaps I will see you around with the flyers as well.
