[ HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. okay, okay, okay. he'll press enter. ]
friendly neighborhood anonymous here.
so this was going to be a post about a database i'm working on with some other people and hopefully more people but one of those people seems to be unreachable now so this is also an APB for Gregor.
onto other shit: we've been working on a document that keeps all the facts we know and all the theories we're currently trying to prove/disprove. it's encrypted for obvious reasons but click the link and I'll get you access no problem [ for all those who have come across his videos on how to use encryptions and how to make yourself purely anonymous, fear not! the stupid naming conventions continue: satanwasababyboomer.doc but its safe to assume that anyone who clicks gains both access to view and edit pretty quickly. ]
this tech is pretty old for me. i'm doing what i can to make it both secure AND accessible. if you're talented with early 2000s technology c'mon down. maybe you can make something work that i can't.
i have to admit i'm not the greatest at keeping on top of things like this. could really use the extra hands in general. there are some other people looking to do the same thing as this but hard copy. mingle with them if that's your bag. assuming they reply here (please reply here if/when you see this... if you want to).
also just for my own curiosities: calling all tech people. engineers, programmers, whatever. let's put our heads together. help one another out.
ps: if you want to annoy someone that's pissing you off I recorded fart sounds, you're welcome.

[And now she feels even more concerned and sad that he's suddenly missing.]
Uh... right now, I'm not sure it matters, but I'll let you know if that changes, yeah. Last I saw him, we were going through some of the offices around City Hall, and I was checking out the hardware in the computers. We talked about bringing one to his place, but ultimately left them there for the time being. I suggested we could get together again at some point and look around some more in other places but... he never got back to me on that.
Yeah, I'm of the same opinion honestly. Many hands make short work, and all that. We've got less of a chance of missing things, and more options for what we can accomplish, with as many people as possible working together. Even if it looks like a lot of the options here are lacking, tech wise.

sure, keep me aware and i'll move the conversation no problem. those old hunks of junk, man. you find anything worth while with them? couple of us tried a few things back when we first arrived but none of it mattered. hoping someone comes up with a brilliant idea. share the knowledge and skills, yanno?
there's always someone smarter or someone that knows something no one else does or has a breakthrough idea. i believe in us, man. i do.

Ugh, not really. It all looked like the most basic, out-of-the-box setups imaginable, minus any proper networking capabilities. Could be useful for pulling together a bunch of hard drives for storage capabilities, but not much else so far. I plan to keep looking, but... not super hopeful.
I hope so. I mean, I guess I shouldn't say that, or I should word it more hopefully, but it's a bit hard with everything right now. Still, you're right and losing that would probably be the worst thing that could happen.
@anonymous
right? like, man. did you open the kiosk? cause that shit is fucking empty how in the fuck can it be empty???? i'm just. it's baffling, which really makes me think that this has to be a simulation. we're all ones and zeros and we have to learn how to hack ourselves or some fucking sci-fi bullshit.
idk man. all i know is i'm not interested in giving up. that said, eventually i'll be getting together a bunch of people. tech types, engineers, and hopefully we can put our brains together. if not to solve the problem of being here to test what can and cannot happen. you interested?

I.. heard about that, but I hadn't tried myself because I don't know what the city considers a crime or not. I would have guessed wireless or bluetooth or something before simulation, but... honestly with everything else happening, that makes as much sense as the more standard answers. I mean, people aren't just disappearing randomly, they can come back to life, AND the city seems to have some way of... affecting dreams and synchronizing them. Still trying to figure that one out.
Absolutely. I want to know what's happening and I want to help in any way I can. You let me know and I'll be there.

didn't come to the whole simulation thing that fast but its definitely top contender now.
wait hold on, whats this about dreams tell me more. i haven't experienced that.

I can see why, with everything. That or the worst kind of limbo ever.
Oh, uh. Ugh. So... it's possible that the people who witnessed what was technically a crime all had the same nightmare, in the same way, and maybe for the same time, but I haven't checked anyone else. I should ask but I don't really know many of the people who were there and I don't think they'd want to talk about it. But it makes way more sense that there's something affecting our... 'reality' so to speak, for that to be possible, as opposed to idk what??
