Has anyone seen Eddie Munson around? He hasn't come back to his apartment for a few days, which isn't totally weird, but long enough his friends are starting to worry about him. Long curly brown hair, dresses like a rockstar, smokes like a chimney. Might have told you his name is something else like Ozzy Osborn.
Also I saw some fliers for the mall opening. Seems like it could have some useful stuff in it, so if anyone wants to go in a group, let me know. Safety in numbers and shit like that.
This is Steve, by the way. Steve Harrington.

from talking to other people from around your timeline my impression is:
we didn't get any of the cool future stuff people wanted
but we made almost all of the bad stuff worse
no subject
What kind of bad stuff...
no subject
but there might be some where the rich people live, i guess.
robots seem expensive
stuff that got worse: the economy, the environment
science. ethics kind of generally
no subject
How does the environment get worse? It's just... the environment. Like it's just there.

if i get back i'll tell everybody to fix the robot situation
[ not that it conveys well in text but i promise he's joking... ]
i mean. yeah
but nature can be poisoned. put some sludge in the river, spray some chemicals on the plants
voila: bad environment

Is there anything good about the future? Or does it all suck?
no subject
we've cured almost all the diseases that people used to die from
buildings and infrastructure are mostly better than they used to be as long as they're maintained
that kind of stuff isn't all bad

Is there... fun shit to do in the future? Like sports in space or anything new like that?
no subject
up above i guess they live a long time. more than 100 years probably
i don't know what life expectancy is like when you're from
what sports do you have? i don't know what counts as "different"
they probably do sports in space.
i've never been though so who knows
