When people disappear from here, has there been any indication of how? Or where they go?
nope. probably out past the weird fog if they're still in the city at all... but no one's found anything.

No, it's like there's no proof they were even here, except for our memories. It's really creepy.
When it happened to Eddie all his things were gone, even the stuff he moved up on to the roof were put back to where they started.
Like he wasn’t here at all except that we know he was.
It's like they were never here so all their stuff and messages with them are gone. Like how food and stuff comes back, but it's all the things they touched going back to where they started.

like a witness? yeah no, i haven't heard of anything like that. it seems like most things that just happen to us always conveniently happen when we're alone and unconscious.
but the missing people were probably taken somewhere that's still here, i think? it'll be something to keep an eye on if someone disappears in a different way than the usual.
