[ The text post is dated the 10th and Armand frowns at his phone as he types. There's still time, but it's certainly not long to find the answers he seeks. He glances at the bottle of blood on the kitchen counter and snaps a quick photo to include with his question. ]

Is there any doctor or person of science that can help with studying this:

[It's...well yep, that sure is a bottle of blood. It's even helpfully labelled like a carton of milk!]

I wish to know everything possible about this, but my understanding is not comprehensive enough. I am hopeful to find tools and equipment at the University campus, but another's experience would be appreciated greatly.

I think from everything that could happen in this place, having something for non-humans is best. I understand people ask where it comes from, but those who rely on it don't have the luxury to deny it.

Unless they are okay doing something bad to those who currently live in this place along with them.

[ by bad he means hungry people-eaters going around eating people. It's not even about punishment, it's about the fact that people might be killed if the option to eat is removed from those who need it ]

What if you dislike the answer? Should we then remove that option from the shelves? Not allow anyone to touch it?

[ Kaneki can't eat fake meat. He knows exactly what he is eating. But he needs to eat regardless. ]

We perhaps have a different way of looking at it.

Nobody has been punished for having what is provided on the shelves.

[ this man is worried about punishment. Kaneki is worried about having to hurt someone living in the city - not the punishment of it, but the hurt of it.

He won't think about where it comes from as long he doesn't have to directly hurt someone currently living in the same city he is living in. He'd rather have his captors provide, rather than go around and get what he needs on his own. ]
