My areas of expertise are somewhat limited, I'm afraid, but I'd like to think I'm learned enough when it comes to matters of theatre. And a few other things I've come to learn aren't nearly as universal as I once thought, but if matters such as the Underworld or the intricacies of arcane entities versus living beings are of any meaning to you, I should be glad for the discussion.

( for a previously inaccessible portion of the city to suddenly avail itself to the citizens is certainly the kind of thing people like them would be drawn to, especially when it is done so without much warning or reason.

to investigate is, of course, the natural course for these things. falling into step in their usual rhythm feels more comfortable than walking in circles both metaphorical and literal. she takes to pages as he does to shadow, rifling through what they can to learn more about their surroundings and any possible threats in the perspective of their own specialties. it leads them to a desk, then keys, then a vault. straightforward enough. it even has their names etched upon the brass, which she'll choose to take as an invitation onwards than anything else.

at this point, the vault has long since shut behind them, and she's busying herself with finding a hidden rune or switch or lever amongst all the other lockboxes. for thancred of all people to be unable to find his way out from their current predicament tells her two things: the lock is arcane in nature, or.. )

I haven't the patience for a ruse if this is one of yours.

Tis more how they act that draws my attention. Even without a soul, so many of them are capable of displaying such unique personalities, and many more are shaped by any myriad of experiences that they encounter throughout their existence.

It opens up countless questions about the nature of living being and arcane entity alike.
