so this was going to be a post about a database i'm working on with some other people and hopefully more people but one of those people seems to be unreachable now so this is also an APB for Gregor.

onto other shit: we've been working on a document that keeps all the facts we know and all the theories we're currently trying to prove/disprove. it's encrypted for obvious reasons but click the link and I'll get you access no problem [ for all those who have come across his videos on how to use encryptions and how to make yourself purely anonymous, fear not! the stupid naming conventions continue: satanwasababyboomer.doc but its safe to assume that anyone who clicks gains both access to view and edit pretty quickly. ]

this tech is pretty old for me. i'm doing what i can to make it both secure AND accessible. if you're talented with early 2000s technology c'mon down. maybe you can make something work that i can't.

i have to admit i'm not the greatest at keeping on top of things like this. could really use the extra hands in general. there are some other people looking to do the same thing as this but hard copy. mingle with them if that's your bag. assuming they reply here (please reply here if/when you see this... if you want to).

also just for my own curiosities: calling all tech people. engineers, programmers, whatever. let's put our heads together. help one another out.

someone also said there were consequences for "attempted" arson. which is a felony in most states where i'm from so that isn't so weird unless "attempted" meant that they thought about it but didn't do it. [ actually.... he's going to inquire right now. ]

Arson isn't exactly legal where I'm from either. Still... it does make me wonder what other "laws" would be expected here. Taking supplies doesn't count as looting or theft, that much we know.

I wonder how our captors feel if we started littering and jaywalking? Maybe we'd be fined in a stupid way.

Right, so "survival" things such as obtaining food and water, basic necessities, and even a little bit of pleasure are all good.

Managed to get clearer answers about the arson and a few other things, feel free to read. You made me think... what if the Arson could not be committed because it could have caused harm to other people? Was it protecting itself or protecting us?

Interesting question. I'm not sure how heavily invested our kidnappers are in our well-being, but enough that they would rather have us alive. So it is possible to think that it might be both in this instance. Can't very well lose their subjects of interest, can they?

I might look into some things. See what laws exactly are in play here. Wouldn't hurt to maybe talk to one of our colorful detectives to see what would be worth testing.

My current line of thinking, yeah. We're valuable to them for one reason or another. Unlikely altruistic reasons but still valuable nonetheless.

Thinking I might do the same. Cause some ruckus in the name of science just to see what can and can't happen. Let me know what you find out, yeah?

Eh, maybe. I've never been the go to authorities to ask for shit type. besides, if someone tells me something is a bad idea i'm probably still gonna do it. why waste their time
