[ HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. okay, okay, okay. he'll press enter. ]

friendly neighborhood anonymous here.

so this was going to be a post about a database i'm working on with some other people and hopefully more people but one of those people seems to be unreachable now so this is also an APB for Gregor.

onto other shit: we've been working on a document that keeps all the facts we know and all the theories we're currently trying to prove/disprove. it's encrypted for obvious reasons but click the link and I'll get you access no problem
[ for all those who have come across his videos on how to use encryptions and how to make yourself purely anonymous, fear not! the stupid naming conventions continue: satanwasababyboomer.doc but its safe to assume that anyone who clicks gains both access to view and edit pretty quickly. ]

this tech is pretty old for me. i'm doing what i can to make it both secure AND accessible. if you're talented with early 2000s technology c'mon down. maybe you can make something work that i can't.

i have to admit i'm not the greatest at keeping on top of things like this. could really use the extra hands in general. there are some other people looking to do the same thing as this but hard copy. mingle with them if that's your bag. assuming they reply here (please reply here if/when you see this... if you want to).

also just for my own curiosities: calling all tech people. engineers, programmers, whatever. let's put our heads together. help one another out.

ps: if you want to annoy someone that's pissing you off I recorded fart sounds, you're welcome.

While it seems unlikely, given we know our memories of dying here are being manipulated it can't be ruled out. However, it sounds as though those who have been murdered here only forget the actual moment of death but remember enough of the lead up they can infer it happened. I can't say the same for what memories I know of before the city.

Many things do support the theory that this isn't as real as it looks, whatever it is. What do you know about their process of downloading people?

[I understand... the technical details won't mean much but, at least, Alhaitham has a frame of reference for the general idea of downloading things from people. He'll keep a copy of this, too, given how relevant the technology is to Anonymous.]

That's one idea. It could also be for the sake of keeping our behavior predictable. If you really believed this to be some sort of afterlife, how would that change the way you handle it?

[Yes... but also he assesses almost everyone and everything all the time, so this isn't anything new.]

We're being watched at least enough to doll out punishment and now pick at people's vulnerabilities, so our behavior is likely a point of interest. If that's the case, how we act would change based on how we perceive this city and ourselves: if it's real or fake, or if we're alive or dead.

Of course they are, that's why their behavior would change with they environment to better survive.

Think of it another way: you probably have unfinished business or goals you were working on before you woke up here, right? Most people do. If you're alive and have something to get back to, then what would you do to get out of here and back there?

But if you were certain you're dead and there's no going back, instead the question becomes what you will do with your new existence in this place?

This is a speculation but the most concrete motivation I can see now is that there's something in our reaction that whoever is behind this is interested in.

[And if they want a specific reaction, they can clearly manipulate a lot of factors to ensure they get it. Like with deemingly cursed replicas of mementos. Or kidnapping.]

It's an idea, anyway. [It fits a lot of the oddities such as the distance the perpetrators seem to have, invasive questions, and sterile setting... but it's still all conjecture based on what he realizes are his own biases from the Akademiya.]

Things would be easier to understand if we new their purpose but that'll be the hardest answer to get.

Did this "Daybreak" start as a research project or some personal fascination of Skye?

And rather than accept whatever end awaited her, she sought to create her own? It's not impossible for someone else to have a similar obsession, though committing murder across different worlds seems extravagant for such personal reasons.

[After all, if you were the end goal it would be better to work off the test subjects most similar to you.]

Of some kind, at least.

Given your anonymity do you intend to make postings like this in the future, in case anyone finds something that supports or refutes that idea?

Then I'll keep an eye out for that.
