People who live peaceful lives aren't used to the threat of retaliation. The kind of caution we need here won't come naturally. It's naivety. Not idiocy.

But the outcome of either is the same.

We need to ensure we all survive. If they don't know how, we have to show them.

We may need to fight, but we don't even know what it is we're fighting yet. And it's better if it's not our first resort.

Considering safer ways to communicate. In-person is safer, so it should be prioritized for major discoveries. However, disseminating information through word of mouth will inevitably leave some people out of the loop.

I have an idea about more secure network communications. Not going to describe it here. It'll take time and cooperation from others for it to work.
