I thought I would share this for the benefit of new arrivals and our more veteran individuals. So a bit of repetitive information for some of you, but I'm sure you'll forgive me.
Call me Daan. I am a doctor. There are a couple of others here as well if I'm not to your preferences, but I do currently a temporary location arranged if you need medical assistance. I will include it after my message is finished. We're working on something a bit more permanent, but due to the nature of the city and how it resets, our choices are scarce. So we'll make do for now.
Ideally, I'd like to perform a series of physicals for anyone who is willing. Just basic things to keep track of in case something happens. Blood pressure, height, weight, the same old same old. Obviously I wouldn't dream of forcing anyone to come if they don't want to, but consider it encouraged.
Now then. Let me know if any of you have any questions for me, and I'll do my best to answer.

Well, it's better than the doc I had back at home. She told me she taught herself how to perform surgery from books and "lots and lots of practice!!!!!!!! :)" Her "license" was written with crayon. So, no, not what I necessarily wanted to hear, but better than what I was used to.

Well, if nothing else, I'd use proper ink on nice paper, and my handwriting is immaculate. I promise I'd make my fake medical license look beautiful.
But truthfully, the man I learned from was very good at what he did, and I have a lot of experience following that. So, sure, some practice, but my mentorship taught me much that a lot can't tell you in just books. ...Though I had to do plenty of studying, too. The baron was a strict man in that fashion.

Torrent was entirely self-taught, from what she told me. I didn't ask for exact details but it sounds like she grew up a lot like me and couldn't really afford anything like school or a mentorship under someone. It was a little more trial and error than that, I think.

Well. Back to the topic at hand. Would you be comfortable telling me more about your implants? If nothing else, I can make sure that nothing is impacting your health, but if you need... I don't know, tune ups or something, that's out of my league.

Sure. For the most part they won't ever need to be checked or calibrated. I hope.
Probably the thing that will affect your work the most with me is that I have subdermal armor installed. It's basically protective plating under the skin that provides protection to my more vital areas. It could make surgery tricky if it ever came to that. It's also enhanced with a nanomatrix that can immediately repair it on command.
The other thing I imagine that's probably pretty obvious to a doctor is that my left eye is an implant. Fancy little camera that integrates with the optic nerve. Shouldn't really run into any issues with it but it sometimes doesn't react to things like you might expect.
I also have what's called a cyberaudio suite. I'm... Not completely sure on the specifics, but I know that it patches into the auditory nerves, the speech center of the brain, and there's a subvocal mic that's integrated with... Some bone. I don't recall.
(OOC - the cyberaudio suite subvocal mic's integrated with the mastoid, if you think he could extrapolate it)
