There's a chance he may simply be missing, then. Wandering outside the borders of this world. If his things go — his clothing, his personal belongings — then I'm afraid he's gone for the foreseeable future.

We were. He came along with me nearly everywhere I went.

He can't be gone.

It seems he is, at least for now. I don't know if it's wise for you to be on your own, regardless of what's happened. Do you have someone else to stay with?
