What is your understanding of God? Or experience with, if you prefer to answer that.

That depends on your fairy tales, I suppose, but I have heard the analogy to describe God before.

A POPULAR TALE IS OF THE STARS WHO GRANT THE WISHES OF THOSE WHO LOOK UPON THEM
BUT EACH DISTRICT HAS THEIR OWN I AM CERTAIN!!!
THEY ARE ALL VERY UNIQUE PLACES, FROM WHAT I HAVE TRAVERSED WITH MY COMPANIONS

I was taught to believe in a God who created the universe. All-knowing, all-loving, all-powerful. Seeing the reality of the world, the pain and suffering visited on even the most innocent and devout children, I could no longer understand belief of that kind of God.

[ He probably should have expected it, really, but he's getting asked this a lot. It's a little much to just... put out there! ]
