[When the broadcast starts, Loki is sitting at the small table in his kitchen area with two ornate daggers lying on the table in front of him. ]

A question for you all. Have any of you suddenly woken one day to find an object of yours from your home world that you did not previously have had mysteriously appeared? Even if said objects were weapons?

[ Hob is surprised and concerned by this. ]

They gave you weapons? I hope they're not trying to instigate something.

[Though Loki feels better having his daggers again, he shares Hob's concern. Especially after what he's learned about other iterations of the City.]

They did. I have my concerns as well. Though I hope there is nothing they could do to force such actions upon me. I am not so easily swayed.

They can be pretty manipulative.

[ Hob doesn't want to remind Loki about the haunted house incidents. ]

Is it strange that I like you worry for me?

But truly, I will be careful. I just think there must be a reason why they have suddenly given me something such as this. It does not make me feel bette that I can suddenly have my weapons, but at the same time I am comforted to have them especially with my magic not working correctly.

[ Hob smiles over the video, even blushing a little. ]

Not strange at all. I know you worry about me, too.

And I'm glad you feel better having them. I just hope this doesn't mean we're going to be given a reason to need weapons.

And yes, I had the same thought. I hope that is not the case though if it is, at least I will have something to defend us with.

[ That just makes Hob blush all over again, only with a soft laugh to accompany it. ]

[Loki can’t help but smile fondly at Hob. If he could kiss him through the camera, he would.]

I do hope you do not have to do that. I would rather listen to you play than see it destroyed.

[It gives him a warm feeling knowing that Hob would defend him, even if he would prefer he wasn’t in the fray at all. It’s really a wonderful feeling knowing that he has someone who will watch his back none-the-less.]

[ Hob may not have Loki's powers (diminished though they might be), but he'd still do anything in his power to keep Loki from harm. ]

I'll play for you any time you'd like, but if it does get destroyed, I'll find a new one, and I've got one back home.

Well then, what are you doing this evening? Come and serenade me!

Seriously, come over. I will make you dinner and you can play for me while I cook.

Serenade? Wait, I only play. I don't sing.

[ Hob doesn't want Loki to think he has a talented voice or anything. Not as charming as Loki's, anyway. ]

But I can definitely play while you cook.

No? Well, that is a minor disappointment.

[He’s teasing, of course. Though he’d be surprised if he found anything Hob did unpleasant. He could have the worst voice in the world and Loki would likely still be charmed.]

[ If it means that much to Loki, Hob will at least try to sing a few bars. ]

Someone likes you. [ Hi, teen here with nothing to contribute except the question: ] They do anything special?

[ Loki's the magic guy!!! He's gotta ask! ]

I like to think lots of people like me. Though I suppose that would be fooling myself. [He grins. He's half kidding. Loki does believe he has friends here, even if that is still a pretty new phenomenon.

Alas no there is nothing magical about them. They are however very high quality and I have missed having them.

[ Huh. Honestly, it's odd that they're just letting people have weapons. Is it a glitch? But there's a point where asking if it's always a mistake kinda comes off as a weak excuse.

How strange, no? I mean the God of Mischief, respectable? It hardly seems possible!

I can actually use them, yes. They are my favoured weapon and I am well trained with them. I have not used them here though. I am worried there is some sort of catch.

I suppose that is true. I guess I just have trouble accepting anonymous gifts, especially when they seem to be from my captors. There is usually an ulterior motive to these things.

[And as much as he feels better having his daggers at his side, he hates that this place has made them something of a suspicion.

When he hears about the car, a look of realization comes over his face.]

I believe I saw that car once. With the one who claims he’s an angel. There was something strange about that car. I could’ve sworn it drove itself a bit. I did not think automobiles could do that.

[ ...wait, an angel? They're thinking of two entirely different rides, he thinks, but a car driving itself... ]

...maybe angels can make cars drive themselves?

[ Said in the most naive human way possible. As Robby is actually trying to remember anyone he's seen with wings around here........... ]

[Loki didn’t precisely believe in angels so he just shrugs. All he really knows is the guy definitely wasn’t human.]

It is possible. Whatever was happening, he tried to lie to me about it so either yes, he was controlling it, or the car is somehow possessed. Not that I know much about human modes of transportation. For all I know whatever time he’s from that is normal for automobiles.

What you use to get around?

What do I use? Well, when not restrained by the strange physical laws of this city, I tend to teleport. Here I have mostly been walking.

Yeah, it happened to me a while back. It was a kind of substance from home, not a weapon, but... still not really something you'd wanna have around.

[ small world. in response to his question, the phone is turned to show Loki a pair of matching revolvers laying atop of the comforter on his bed. the gun belt he typically wears is beside them along with a box of ammunition, though the bullets have been carefully tucked into their respective slots on the belt for easy access.

for the first time in months, when the camera pans back around, he actually looks pleased. ]

[As Loki takes in the guns, his face brightens.]

[ More weapons, despite the emphasis on community building, and the fate of some past iterations... ]

A colleague of mine received a delivery that fits this description a few months ago. However, she has since disappeared.

Well, that is concerning. Seems odd they would provide weapons and then take the person away.

No, she also told me that there was no accompanying note, while another resident, who received a vehicle, mentioned the following message: "The City thanks you for your service."

Perhaps it differs from item to item, depending on the type of object.

Again with the car. I knew there was something strange about that car.

[This is said almost more muttered to himself than anything.]

Tell me, do you know much about this car? I believe I saw it once and I could’ve sworn it was driving itself, but I did not think that was something common for human transportation. The man with it denied it, but I know he was lying.
