Uh, hello everyone. It looks like we might be here a little longer than we hoped for, unless anyone has figured out how to leave yet.
[ He tries not to sound pesimistic about it. ]
I mean, whoever brought us here threw us a really dull mixer and hasn't made themselves known, so a lot of people are probably looking for places to stay and figuring all that stuff out.
No one's asking my opinion, but I would encourage everyone not to live somewhere too secluded. We don't know what might happen, and if you need help, it may be difficult to reach you. I know most of us probably don't know anything about each other, and it can be difficult to trust strangers, but putting city blocks between you and your nearest neighbor won't make things easier.
That's all.

Well, that's a relief to hear, Miss.
And what is your name?
no subject
[ of any kind. bewilderment is fine, too. ]
And what is thine?
no subject
[ Maybe she's having some make-believe. That might help people cope in a situation like this. ]
Robert, but you can call me Hob.

[ until this mobile game tells me i'm wrong. it's fine. nothing in the city suggests they have these work of fictions in them, exactly, the characters don't know them at least. ]
Nonetheless! It is a pleasure to make thine acquaintance, Ser Hob! May I ask what would have made an exciting mixer? T'was my first time attending one, so I wish to know more!

[ But perhaps her world does not have that piece of literature? Or maybe she doesn't read many books? Hob is still trying to figure out who is from where and if it's anything like his own home. ]
Well, definitely more music. And not being held against our will always improves the mood of a party.

Is that so? There were instruments left laying about, was there not? Thou should hath played one! I cannot play any myself, though my friend Sinclair is quite accomplished with a pair of maracas!
no subject
[ Though Hob was quite impressed by those who did. The mention of someone playing the maracas does make him chuckle. ]
Well, I can play the guitar, but there wasn't one available at the time.
[ And he's not really sure about playing in front of an audience. ]

[ that'd be fun!!!!!! she wants to learn an instrument too, they seem fun. are fun to play even if you don't know how. that sort of thing. very much not for her kind. ]
no subject
[Try traveling with a piano. Not so easy.]
Well, we'll see.
[He's a little embarrassed at the idea of playing in front of others, but perhaps it would be good for morale if those who can play an instrument do so.]
