oh yeah heads up
ive heard from certain people who committed this themselves and
apparently if you kill someone here
you get your memories wiped of the incident altogether
not sure why they'd go out of their way to do that here but they do this sort of thing where im from all the time so im very used to seeing it
probably can't say the same for other people from other worlds so you guys have to educate me on that
so uhh
im not saying you should or shouldn't kill altogether
im not your mom
but just keep that in mind the next time you got some kinda murderous urge or something
the reason why im anonymous right now is bc i don't wanna reveal who did that in the first place
it might lead to some awkward icebreakers on their part
also i wouldn't lie about something like this if anyone's wondering bc i got no time to waste on leading people on
but this is probably the worst thing any newcomer would wanna see, huh
whoops
well... welcome to this city, i guess
( ooc: feel free to threadjack and craft theories! kromer/@gripper will also be answering questions about things she knows as a victim as well. )

@Kromer, threadhopping 👌
well. she sure can use this to her advantage. there's nothing else that could have happened, she always goes through this despite it never feeling like it really happened to her, but certainly certainly certainly... )
Thanks for the heads up, Anonymous, but if anyone wants some real firsthand information about this kind of thing--
Well. I'm a poor victim of this crime!!! Ask whatever you want, and I'll do my best to answer.

I woke up on that train again after my apparent "murder".
By the way, you can tell me I died all I like, but it doesn't click. Never triggers a memory or anything like that.
But
I know that's what has to have happened, considering the circumstances.

Call it an inevitability, or call it fate.
Though you could say we've kissed and made up now, so there shouldn't be any problems going forward.

@midnightespresso
Did it hurt?
[YEAH great start!!]

I don't remember, but waking up wasn't painful.
I had other issues instead.

Unless the murderer didn't make it a point to take anything away?

he lingers on this for a moment, but kromer parading this around in public makes his skin crawl more than he can allow. ]
You're not a victim.
no subject
I was killed, so I think that makes me the victim in this particular case.
Would you really disagree with that? If you did, couldn't anyone argue that just because someone was "murdered" doesn't mean they were a "victim"?
What a slippery slope, ( should she call him by name? should she call him by username? should sh ) wouldn't you say.

she sure is dragging it out in public on
dreamwidth.orgthe network. she really is. and he knows where her implications are leading, what hateful thing she could follow with if he moves along with her fucked up logic.and those unsaid things are so— ]
You know what makes you different.
[ the dead can't be murdered and aggressors can't be victims. which is the case for him, too, and that's fine. he doesn't want to be one, he refuses to be one. ]

So, you were killed, then woke up on the train again? Was that immediate?
i feel you on the html dude it is a good day if i don't mess up somehow.

@Kaveh
The situation seems a bit complicated, and I'm not sure if I'm the best person to have a say in it - but I would like to ask: are you alright?
No, that's a terrible question. How can you be? You just came back from the dead. You seem very cavalier about this sort of thing, but I thought I'd ask.
no subject
I was a little more concerned when it actually happened, but it's been a month since.
You could say I've come to terms with the idea.
no subject
And in that month, um - have you experienced any other side effects aside from the memory loss?
Say: aches, pains, fogginess of thought. [ ... ] Depression?
