No festivals.
No fireworks.
No tests of courage.
What a terrible way to spend the summer in a new place. I might die from boredom!
(And yet, it sounds like he's having fun. Don't worry. He'll be fine.)
Why don't we share some tales of the strange and unknown? If we tell enough stories, something interesting might appear~
Let's see... The set up isn't quite right but a hundred stories will probably do.

[ and it's the only theatre that people would refer to when they mention "theatre". ]
An investigation I made about it afterwards only mentioned certain rumors and urban legends, but nothing concrete.

(He likes it.)
What did those rumors say?

There had been word that those who live in the back alley mysteriously disappear and then return as completely different individuals on the inside. They then lure other residents to be transformed into "them" as well.
But again, this back alley doesn't exist. This begs the question of who these residents are and who are they being supposedly turned into.

(He hums, thinking a bit to himself,)
How many times did you check this mysterious alley that doesn't exist? How long did you investigate?

[ tbf, there are more weird things happening on everwinter city than just this, so ... ]

(he hums, thinking over the facts of the story. A mysterious alley filled with people that disappears at convenient times. )
There's a similar story where I'm from, though, it isn't about a single place. Perhaps a different perspective may help shed some light?

I'd like to hear what your thoughts are, please.

This is the hour of evil spirits; when the barrier between "this" world and "the other" world is at its thinnest. Anything can happen. Villagers have heard trees fall when none have fallen. Others have heard children laughing and people whispering when none were around.
And even if all instinct tells you not to follow, some have tried...
(His voice trails...)

But you say that this happens during twilight? During a certain hour?
[ it makes sense in his head. the shadows at such an hour can hide anything or anyone. ]
My friend met this man in broad daylight.
no subject
(Not that he can see because this is an audio recording and not a video but he nods and crosses his arms, thinking,)
Perhaps there are requirements to see this alley and they simply haven't been met since your friend stumbled onto them. Just because you can't find someting, that doesn't mean it isn't there.

Still, there has been no actual reports of disappearances from the citizens. Who could it be that disappeared and were supposedly transformed?
Would spirits do this to other spirits?
no subject
(Like, casually taking people and menacing others are fun. Yeah.)
What's fun for spirits might not be the same for humans, though. We are, after all, from different worlds. It's natural to have some differences.
no subject
wait, what? ]
"You"?
no subject
"Me?"
no subject
How do you know that spirits like to have fun, too?
no subject
Do you think spirits like to float around bored all day? (Hello???) Do you?
(Do you like to be boring?!)
no subject
[ brb clearing his throat because ???? what a question??? ]
I wouldn't know. I've never met a spirit before, so.
no subject
Maybe you have and you just didn't know! It wouldn't be your fault. Not many humans can tell.
no subject
You speak as if you're not one.
no subject
Really? (Really?????) Maybe I'm just strange!
