I can't say I disagree, unfortunately.

Do you know of anything in particular we should watch out for? Any warning signs, that sort of thing?

uh, alright, let me take a crack at it.

1. numbered doors. you'll know what i mean if you see any, they're not normal numbers for rooms or addresses.
2. losing chunks of time over and over. bonus if you wake up somewhere you weren't before, like that train.
3. you ever been to an escape room back home? those, but for real.
4. anyone who talks to us but won't do it face-to-face is in on it.
5. anybody making deals to get out of here is in on it. or going to kill you.
6. these phones are probably keeping track of more than just our gps.
7. if anyone got special info delivered just to them, no matter the reason, someone is fucking with us.
8. stupid riddles.
9. people with interlocking backstories, but only if they didn't know about it before.

For all our sakes, I hope you're mistaken about the likelihood of these things happening. But I do appreciate the warning, in spite of my earlier reaction. I've made a note of this list, and I'll be keeping an eye out...I will certainly report back if I witness any of these things. Might I dare to hope you will do the same?

Also, just for the record, AbyssalBlade and I knew each other quite well before we arrived here. I do not think we qualify for point 9 -- and if anyone tries to use our past connection against either of us, I do not think it will go well for them.

i think you'll be fine about number 9. some guy you know from home is just some guy you know from home, not a case of "ohhhhh we never met before this city and we had no idea that we were both part of the mastermind's backstory somehow despite never meeting before!"
