[ He's making this post while he's also featuring on a livestream against his will, so naturally he's on perma-text. He's also managed to make this post visible for everyone except Louis, or at least he hopes?? As long as the tech advice he got was sound, and he'd got it from Armand so it's really a 50/50 on that. ]
Lestat here.
I come to you with a question in burning need of an answer, but first, a little context.
I have thrown many parties in my time, and have attended even more, and though I'm not at all interested in making this world a facsimile of my own, I am looking to cut loose a little, as the phrase goes.
It is my companion's birthday on Wednesday, October 4th. He doesn't enjoy attention, unlike myself, and will probably loathe the idea of any kind of celebration being thrown in honour of the occasion for a great many reasons, but I so rarely listen to his reason that I feel it would be more of a surprise to him if I didn't try to host a little get-together. And he deserves a little predictability.
I know he wasn't incredibly social before my arrival, but even without familiarity I can't see any reason why you'd be reluctant to attend a gathering with free food.
So, for my question, I would like suggestions for a location. Perhaps a restaurant of some kind? Typically, I would pay someone to do all this planning for me with only a vision in mind, but this City is nothing if not encouraging of being self-sufficient.
Also, if anyone out there is a musician: I have a few guitars, some drums. I'd like to play a song or two as a source of entertainment, and we all know solo acts are never quite as successful as a whole band.
For everyone else, please feel free to come along. Details will be added when I have them.
It's sure to be one hell of a night.

Are you worried that I read your mind when we met?
[ Why is he having so much fun talking about vampire logistics with her... But then, he supposes, it's the same reason he got such a kick out of spilling all of Marius' secrets through his rock songs: because he's a little shit, and he loves doing things he is not meant to do. ]
Ah, I wish that were the exhaustive list, chรฉrie, I really do. Though I feel our might more than makes up for our shortcomings.
As for eating people, I promise it's not all as bad as it sounds.

i know the lycans are suuuuuper strict about that kind of thing though
i asked so nicely and they still wouldn't bite me
:(
oh not particularly! imogen has too, even before we actually became friends. it seems like such a great thing to be able to do minus the headaches she gets
any favorites from the city so far?
( having all of bell's hells thoughts shoved into one mind at all times wasn't likely all that pleasant though, )
hmm
i guess i've gotten tastes before
it's more pleasant than some of the things i've bitten but also the bar isn't very high considering the kinda stuff we've fought
not that i've swallowed whatever bit i get. i don't remember

But you ask of favourites, don't you? Well, that would be telling. I do like to catch people in lies, or perhaps resisting where they needn't, especially around me. But really, all human thoughts are my favourite.
... Do you often bite whatever you fight? I didn't think that was the trend for fawns, though admittedly I could be wrong.

prefer them straight from the source? you haven't been going hungry have you
and you must really enjoy people if all of them are fun to you
some are like.... ok! just ok. no notes
not always!! it depends on how i'm feeling that day. as a druid, i can be all SORTS of animals, and its kind of hard to hold weapons without thumbs

But you must know that I'm always hungry.
Helpfully, the dark gift graces us with the ability to find beauty even in the mundane, and humans to me are so wonderfully mundane as a species that even the slightest deviation from it fascinates me like a child. Other vampires are much too easy to predict, but humans are wild and fascinating, even the impossibly plain ones.
I think I understand. You are no witch nor sorceress, you are a druid which means you can transform into creatures as a form of attack and defense, and this is how you've eaten enemies... I really do feel like the image of you in my head shifts each time we talk, mon petale, which I suppose is rather fitting for one who can shapeshift.
