[She appears on the network wearing a pair of white cat ears, brandishing a sort of princess wand, which she uses for emphasis as she talks]
Hey. Name's Miu, I'm an actress, and I'm here to tell you that if I see a single one of you wearing a spooky monster costume that ends up stuck in said costume and/or acting more and more like the monster come Halloween, I will beat you with this princess wand.
Don't do it. Stick to cute or easy costumes and stay away from those stupid ugly masks! I've seen enough movies to know that's a stupid idea and if you do it anyway I get the exclusive right to say 'I told you so!' super mockingly next month.
[She clears her throat and sits back] Now then, the important question:
Sexy angel, or sexy cat? I can't decide if I like the idea of having wings more, or a cute tail and ears.
[She looks between two generic costumes like it's the most important and confounding decision of her life.]

Angel. But that's probably a big bias from me.

[Miu should be a devil, especially since she's saying this in a sickly-sweet cutesy tone]

Well, not all angels are necessarily nice, Miu. But they're what's necessary.

video, @DONQUIXOT3
Why not both?
[ she is not addressing the other part because she's definitely going to hang the most terrifying masks up in her house to scare her roommate ]

Oh, I didn't even think of mixing them together. [She hums, looking a bit pleased about it]
Hopefully if we're all smart about this, Halloween can pass without incident.

[She looks pretty please about it, messing with the packages off screen to grab the wings out of the angel one]
If something does happen, I'd at least want something cool. Cat eats and wings sounds like it'd be nice to be stuck with.

Christian mythology is so weird. [She announces before putting the costume down]

Probably the safest idea, though let’s hope they don’t do the movie thing and turn everyone into their costumes because that would ruin the best part of Halloween.
I’m sure whatever you dress as you’ll look great [ she’s a model she probably already knows that, William. ] and if you do turn into a cat come find me and I’ll keep you safe.
But maybe you’re right and everyone should avoid being something that might be dangerous.

[ Is that a risk you're willing to take, Miu?? ]

Yeah, but the virgin usually survives to be the final girl, so even if I dress sexy I'll probably be good.
Sucks to be everyone else though.
[TAKE THAT]

Okay, so if we need a meat shield, you'll be a good distraction. Good to know.

They better at least have something fun there, like, I don't know, fucking Robin Hood or a knight some shit.
( By fun, he clearly means useful in a pinch against weird creatures. What? He doesn't want to get chewed alive by more interdimensional creatures. Obviously. )

Right? It's just the kind of stuff a weird place like this would pull. Or certain pieces of candy making you act a certain way. But if they touch the candy I'm gonna be really mad.
This isn't really something we celebrate in Japan, but even I know about the massive amounts of candy. [She's watched enough movies she gets the idea]

( Then she goes on to talk about Japan and he appears to lean closer, clearly interested in hearing more about these cultural differences. ) Oh really? Do you have anything similar you celebrate, or is the end of October just...a regular day for you guys?

It's mostly just a skimpy white dress or lingerie, a halo, and little angel wings.
They've got devil and fallen angels one too that are basically the exact same, just in red or black.
I feel like they could be more creative but I don't really know enough angels to say anything.

Even more concerning: you're speaking of this like it's happened before.

[Simple, easy, sexy... What more could someone want!
The rest of it just makes Miu shrug] It's a pretty basic plot for a horror story. Someone finds a mask and wears it and it fuses to them and becomes their real face, or starts influencing their minds and how they act.
Or someone wears a full costume and suddenly is stuck in it and starts acting like what they're dressed up as...
I haven't gotten any horror movie roles yet, but I've seen enough of them to know it's a cliche that this place might jump on.

@samsa, video
Is Halloween something we are going to celebrate here, then? [ he never celebrated it, it sounds strange for him to do it ]

I don't know, but I saw the costume store pop up and knew it'd probably be something. This place manages to seem really Western sometimes.
