This might be a silly question. But how do you suppose we should be counting our birthdays here?

I technically should be 19 now, I think.
But if it's Halloween, I'm still a bit away from my birthday, too.

Should I be 18 or 19?

It's the Earth calendar. I don't know the year being used in this place, but Halloween is on October 31st.

Do you come from a different world?

as for your birthday, someone smarter than me will have to answer that one but maybe what matters is how old you feel in the end

depends on whether you're into linear time or desk calendars, i guess.

it was new year's day back home before i got here, so i just had to count. buuuut my birthday's in february, not the summer.

It would have been last month, actually. I guess with everything that happened, I wasn't thinking about it.

It used to be! Now it's just for fun, although it wasn't done in my country.
But according to movies and such, children will dress up as different things and go around their neighbourhood, asking for candy.
I'm sure it can be celebrated here, there is a shop with Halloween things.

I think it doesn't make a difference since it's just a year of difference, to be honest.

But no one is from here, at least...

Oh, it's alright, I don't really celebrate my birthday.

My birthday is in December. So nearly 3 months away.
It's not a lot, in the end. I was just curious as to how others were counting theirs.

I don't. They just never seemed that important. And I only had a friend to hang out with, so I suppose we did go out to eat and such.

That was a kind of celebration.

on my pseudobirthday i microwaved myself some ramen and pretended to watch a movie. i'm not complaining, it was a great time, but i get it. birthdays after you're like 16 are pretty boring.

plus, not to be weird or anything, but what if we're stuck in stasis or something here? sooo not birthday-oriented.

as far as what halloween's about, i saw the store with the costumes but i didn't know candy was a part of it!
kind of a bummer that only kids can do it though im like 105 years too late probably

that's what i was thinking. and the newsletter thing has got to be on purpose, yeah? nobody just accidentally includes their redacted secret documents in their halloween handouts. we are being fucked with on every possible level here.

Technically I came from April straight into June and haven’t really thought about it since my birthday isn’t until Spring anyway.

I didn't celebrate my birthday before, I wouldn't know how to throw a party.

I think everyone can do it. it's usually kids, but I'm sure even you could.
Even if you are 100 years old...

I also never celebrated Halloween before. All I know about it is from movies and books.

And also the things left at the university, as well. There are no books or any written words anywhere, but they left all those files on experiments behind..
