This might be a silly question. But how do you suppose we should be counting our birthdays here?

I technically should be 19 now, I think.
But if it's Halloween, I'm still a bit away from my birthday, too.

Should I be 18 or 19?

seems like you could celebrate it if you want and not if you don't want

I never celebrated it before, so I suppose it doesn't make a difference.

But it'd be easier to go along with this place's calendar, right?

probably? sounds like if you don't care about your actual birthday you could just pick a day you like and celebrate then

I didn't really celebrate it back home, though I know what the day is.

but you are right, it probably makes no difference in a place like this.

but i'm pretty sure i was just grown in stasis until i was like six
