I technically should be 19 now, I think.
But if it's Halloween, I'm still a bit away from my birthday, too.

Yes, something like that. It's a bit unsettling.
But maybe just staying away from those new places is best. At first, at least.

More people keep arriving, so maybe it won't be so empty for very long.
And I guess that's true/ You never have to wait in line for anything which is good :)

It's definitely sus that they keep opening up new places one at a time... Maybe if we all refuse to go in when they do, they'll get the hint??

And although he's pretty shy about reaching out, there's something in him that thinks maybe he should, to this fellow young person who's asked about birthdays. A few people have reached out to him, and... it's nice. ]

[ There's something more fun about hanging out at the mall on a Saturday or something. Kind of feels like back when he used to actually do that kind of thing with his friends back home, gives it some normalcy.

Sometimes when I can't sleep I like to hang out there
Nothing like nacho cheese and neon lights at 3AM to make insomnia a lot more fun

I usually read if I've imsomnia. Not that this place has books, but I have been recording stories other people tell. So it became my library, sort of.
