This might be a silly question. But how do you suppose we should be counting our birthdays here?

I technically should be 19 now, I think.
But if it's Halloween, I'm still a bit away from my birthday, too.

Should I be 18 or 19?

What about you though? What is it like in your world?

My world is a bit different. There is a species similar to humans called Ghouls.

From what I've gathered, they don't really exist in other worlds.

How are they almost the same?

They look like humans and they have the same level of intelligence.

But they have different biology and physiology. And anatomy.

From the way you’re saying it, it makes them sound like aliens or something.

No. They have always existed alongside humans.

Which makes it all the more weirder and confusing as to why they are there then.

They are humans' natural predator. [ it means exactly what it is. ]

And how have you dealt with that?

Humans ghouls continuously hurt each other, unable to learn how to live with one another.

Which makes it impressive that you managed to survive this long.

Ghouls can hide among humans easily. But humans have a governmental branch that hunts and deals with ghouls, too.

Well, like I said, they just keep hurting each other.

There has to be a way, right?

To make sure that nobody hurts one another?

It has always been like this. i don't know if either side are ready for such a thing.

How will you know if nothing is done?

It's nice to think like that but humans and ghouls have always existed side by side, all over the world.

The world doesn't change just because a few people want it to.

If there's a way, then it is still worth a try.
