But I'm glad! And thank you for volunteering to help with the cooking. With the number of guests we're hoping for, we could use all the talent we can get.
What might you need for your portion of the cooking? Pots, pans? A buffet warmer to keep your food warm, or a flat-top grill? Name it, and I'll make sure it's there for you.

Yes, you certainly are a redhead of all time. You also happen to be the best and and the worst redhead who's likely had a meal in the last twenty-four hours. Make of that what you will.
But I'll take that pink-promise. Those can't be broken, did you know? Get back to me soon, or get back to me at least three days before the beginning of the gala, because I need to figure out which restaurant to gut with prejudice.

I don't mind gutting my own restaurant, honest. but question for ya, are you thinking mostly finger foods or things you gotta sit down to eat?

Well, I'd think this gala would be lucky that you take sanctity of food seriously as well.
You have a restaurant here, however? Are you sure? We can take things from an unused one, or I can help you move the appliance.
In terms of kind of food, there's a need for a sit-down meal because of just how long this gala is, and we'd like everyone to be able to relax and chat. The atmosphere is a little more formal than the gatherings we've had up to this point.
But finger food is excellent for appetisers, and for when the dancing begins. Ah, this is a terrible answer, but: both.
