You have an interesting name, Just Alucard. Mine is Ghost, which I assume you already knew from my advertisement.

For what it's worth, I'm likewise Just Ghost, if you want to even the balance. I've never had a surname, as far as I know.

It's more like a title, admittedly. In any case, it's probably difficult to tell like this, but I was not truly bothered. Loses a bit of its nuance if I'm not using audio, I realize.

You have no memory of anything else pertaining to your name?

I'm under the impression I was never given anything more than Ghost. To be fair, there wasn't need for a surname because there was no need to distinguish between multiples of the same name, and heritage wasn't important.

My understanding is that I'm the only Ghost that ever was. I assume no one saw a point in making it any more complicated than that.

That seems like a lot of assumptions. But I suppose it's not as if someone needs a surname, necessarily.

Are you content with it, then? Your name.

Assumptions are all I have, unfortunately. Anyone who would've known those answers have since become...permanently unavailable.

I suppose I am, yes. I've known people with more questionable ones. Some friends of mine had a father who used to adopt children in pairs, and would give them names that were anagrams of each other so that he could remember which ones went with which. At least I'm free of that.

That is true. Seems you got off relatively unscathed by comparison. Ghost, then, is perfectly serviceable on its own.

Names are important. I suppose it's only human nature to play word games with them sometimes.

Correct. I may have another joining us to offer dance lessons, but I plan to invite her, if that is acceptable. I will keep you informed.
