As I am sure it is true for any of you reading this, since my arrival here I have been trying to think of new ways to figure out what is happening, why we are here and how we might be able to leave. The last one most prominently. The best idea I have had, and here I must give credit to one Abe no Seimei as we did come up with this together, but we would like to investigate the tunnels the trains arrive on. If there is one thing that seems evident about this place, it is that we all arrive on these trains and though they will not take us back the way we came, the trains still must enter the city through these tunnels. We will be investigating this possibility, but it occurred to us both that the more we have checking out the area, the better. At this time we would like to see if there was anyone else interested in checking out the tunnels. We think it is likely best to go in small groups, but not alone. Alone never works out well in situations like these, but a number of smaller groups would provide protection and gives us a wider range of possibly finding out a way to leave. Please let me know here if you are interested in doing this so we can converse afterwards to go over any information we may have discovered. Thank you in advance.

That is a distinct possibility, but how can we know for sure if we do not at least try? I would prefer to cross all possibilities off the list before simply dismissing them.

It's certainly worth an attempt. I might even be inclined to take part. I only say it to temper my own hopes. The unnatural disorientation troubles me, and I can't help but wonder what sort of other unseen effects it might be having upon us.

I admit, I am not the most optimistic person and tend to agree with you on this, but I do prefer to know these things for sure. As much as I enjoy some chaos, I do prefer to have and keep the upper hand. That cannot be done without information.

If you do decide to help, I would appreciate it if you let me know anything you find out, even if it is just that you were correct in your initial assumptions.

Most certainly. If anyone is in want of a companion, I would accompany them. I see well in the dark. And as you said, it is wise not to do this alone, regardless of my inclinations. The strangeness of this place has caused me to doubt my own senses a number of times.

Some say curiosity will be my death. Joke’s on them really, but I do find it has helped me more than hindered.

That would be most helpful, thank you. I agree this place seems to be doing things to us that has me doubting quite a bit. I think that is why I am so curious to find out what is truly going on here.
