Hello.
My name is Ken Kaneki, I'm 18 years old and I come from Tokyo in Japan. I have just arrived.
There are still many things I don't understand about this place. But I'm curious, is there a library in this place? Or a bookshop? Or any place for me to find books?
And where do people live? Do you just take a room for yourselves, like everything else? [ it just sounds wrong... ]
What are we meant to do here? [ what is the point of being here, he wonders ]

Yet there isn't a single piece of currency anywhere in this city. It isn't realistic to think someone was really able to collect every single coin from every building before we arrived.
