Hello, this is Kaneki. [ he is always going to introduce himself and say who he is because he never did social media before. kaneki is awkward like that ] I hope everyone is alright after what happened.
I have been realizing that despite me coming from a version of Earth, my version is different. All Earths are very different from each other. Did your Earth have another sentient species besides humans? I wonder if that's an exception or the norm.
On an unrelated note, I had the idea of sharing stories. Since there are no written books in this place, we could sit down and tell each other stories we know, or even stories we make up. Like... a book club, but instead it's a story club.
There would be snacks, of course. I can bring and make coffee.

Humans and ghouls still haven't been able to talk. Some Ghouls see humans as nothing but playthings. And some humans see ghouls as nothing but monsters.
But in the end, both are trying to survive and live, and have a kind life with what they are given.

i'm surprised there's still any ghouls around. humans don't have a great history with other humans
something that eats them?
do you have advocates for ghouls or something on the human side
no subject
Ghoul sympathizers may be arrested.
I mean you can advocate for them, but if it goes beyond words, then you'd be in trouble.
In any case, the CCG - Commission of Counter Ghoul - is trying to exterminate them. But special weapons are required to hunt and fight ghouls. Ghouls are stronger, faster, and more agile than any human.

sounds like one big mess
[ ...
...
... you know he doesn't want to ask this since he feels crazy (read: robby always feels crazy here, but)--he's at least going to go private with this question: ]
so what would you call yourself
you have history with them
[ It's so obvious, dude.
But also, Robby likes the options 'a sympathiser' or 'has history with ghouls' and not the secret third one (being a ghoul). ]

kaneki won't admit to it, though.]
I know ghouls.
It's a scary world. They can be very scary.
But I think there is kindness too. And there is beauty. And a mother ghoul will still care for her child, and love them, protect them, sacrifice for them.
I don't think it's black and white, humans vs ghouls. I think there is a lot in the middle.

ok
just wondering
humans can be scary too
so
just sounds like a shitty situation overall
[ Which he's already said, but maybe it bears repeating. ...just so he has something to follow up the response with.
He still wouldn't want to be a ghoul's dinner, personally!!! ]

It is. It's very difficult, unfortunately.
But I suppose there are none here. Or in most places anyway.
private
where's the blue aliens and the ones with tentacle faces sci fi tells me there is?
private
Isn't it strange, then? That this place has so many humans.
private
it's a human looking city. as far as i know
private
It makes me wonder if the people keeping us here might be human.
private
like the city's alive? getting into sci-fi book territory.
private
What do you mean, alive?
private
i guess cause we don't see anyone restocking anything. or any other people at all
anyone can come up with crazy ideas
private
Like a haunted house, but instead a haunted city.

I never heard of a whole city though.
