[ Though the video feed may be started with Daniel’s username, it seems like the man isn’t the only person visible when the message starts. Robby is right there next to him, the man with a friendly smile on his face and the boy smiling, though not as brightly. ]

Hello, everyone! As I’m sure many of you have experienced yourself, suddenly arriving in this place on the train can be more than a little disorienting. And though many people here are incredibly kind and willing to help, Robby and I thought that it would also be nice to have a place where new people can be directed to in order to get some information, a warm welcome, and some equally warm food. So we’re planning on clearing out a space somewhere near the main train station to turn it into a welcome diner of sorts.

We know people are arranging clubs and have regular meet-ups, [ speaks up Robby this time, ] so we thought they'd be a good place to advertise them. Let them know who's running clinics, who to ask about the kiosk or the city. Share what's happened here, too.

[ There's the faintest shift in Robby's tone at the mention of that, but he quickly adds: ] Oh, yeah, and we know there's been talk about how supplies are doing. The food's gonna be packaged and good to take out if people want it–if you wanna help with recipes, or help out with the idea in general, let us know.

[ Daniel is definitely smiling like a proud dad sensei the entire time he’s listening to the boy speak. Please don’t mind a man being very embarrassing, even ruffling his hair once Robby is done speaking. The highest form of humiliation a teenager can suffer. ]

Really, Robby deserves all the credit. He really does always have the best ideas. Everyone, make sure to befriend him, alright?

[ There's a very teenage huff from behind Robby, and the video feed is moving as: ] Okay, I think we're done.

[ Yes, that's Robby reaching for the phone to end the post. Freedom!!!! ]

I hear very little about you, you know, and while I don't mind one living their life in privacy, I do like it when people I care for are aware of their good qualities. Whenever someone is profoundly good, kind, and hardworking, yet choose to say nothing for themselves, I imagine them to be quite humble. Otherwise, I'm burdened with the awful possibility that they might not be aware of their own good qualities at all... Do you see how such things might take up a great deal of my thought?

[ Is this just a very elaborate bullying session? Well, yes, but he means very well... ]

[ Putting aside the question of which one of the two options Daniel is - it's the latter, definitely the latter, Midnight has good reason to worry, honestly - he can't help but instead address this first. ]

That's really not something you should think so much about, especially when it comes to me. [ Daniel figures Midnight has plenty of people to think about like that, but.. look, if he can just free Midnight from the burden of one person more, that'd be great, right? ] It's not worth worrying about.

[ Sorry, Midnight, he's taking your bullying so seriously-- ]

It's not a matter of whether it's worth worrying about or not, darling. It's something I'll do when I care for someone else. Besides, a little worry has never done me any harm. I'm a very good multitasker. You'll simply have to be resigned to the fact that you are in my thoughts.

Besides, worrying for others naturally brings thoughts of those people to my mind, and I like thinking about those I care for. You'll have to do a bit more convincing if you want me to simply stop thinking about you and how your day's been.

[ Midnight, who ever gave you this much power. Not a single person should hold all this power, and yet.. and yet!!! ]

Well, I guess I can't deny you it if you like it..

[ Even if Daniel feels dizzy just thinking about all of this. ]

It's just that I can't imagine a whole lot of people ever having wondered how my day has been. Outside of my direct family, anyway.

[ He only has as much power as people are willing to give him... Quite a few people treat him like an annoying little fruit fly, and at heart, he considers himself one. ]

Well, at the very least I can promise you that nothing about your day to day schedule should change dramatically. I will simply check in on you every now and then, and I would have done that all along.

[ Midnight's honestly rather amused. He does quite a bit to be memorable, but he does remember a time when he put in more concerted efforts into not being noticed... He understands, or at least he knows he used to. ]

His heart might not be able to handle the worry of a statement like that meant a little more seriously, after all. ]

[ He still remembers that man at the door, after all. He doesn't understand who that was or how he came to be a part of Mr. LaRusso's life, but he'd like to help Mr. LaRusso work through whatever harm he might have sustained from his violence, if he can. ]
