This might be a silly question. But how do you suppose we should be counting our birthdays here?

I technically should be 19 now, I think.
But if it's Halloween, I'm still a bit away from my birthday, too.

Should I be 18 or 19?

Due to an experiment gone wrong, it created an extra hour within a day. However, only people with the potential can experience that extra hour in the day as there are a lot of dangerous creatures that lurk around during that time.

a manifestation of negative emotions of people taking form?

And you had to run and hide from that?

No, I had to fight them! Otherwise, they would destroying things around the city and keep hurting people!

However, it's only certain people can do it as most people can't experience the extra hour in the day.

Isn't there anyone else?

But wait, how does that extra hour look like to others, if they can't be part of it?

There are a few others as they are teammates so I'm not completely alone.

Although, that extra hour won't look much of anything. They won't remember anything as they will be turned into coffins during that time.

I believe you, of course. But I never heard of anything like that before.

It's fine, it's even hard to believe myself after everything I've been through.

I'm just amazed that I managed survive all of it. Especially when Gods are involved too.

What about you though? What is it like in your world?

My world is a bit different. There is a species similar to humans called Ghouls.

From what I've gathered, they don't really exist in other worlds.

How are they almost the same?

They look like humans and they have the same level of intelligence.

But they have different biology and physiology. And anatomy.

From the way you’re saying it, it makes them sound like aliens or something.

No. They have always existed alongside humans.

Which makes it all the more weirder and confusing as to why they are there then.

They are humans' natural predator. [ it means exactly what it is. ]
