At least he suits the name: today he's gone for a very 'low-key' scarlet silk shirt that's open almost to his midriff and shining black pants, but he's still draped in an unreasonable amount of chains, with a pair of rose-tinted sunglasses perched on his nose. Y'know. Just dressed down for the evening. ]

I suppose. I just don't see the point hosting any kind of get-together unless you're going to go large with it. If you're going to be the center of attention, you might as well maximise the amount of attention you'll be at the center of, no?

[ he is easily distracted by such random things! besides, if he blatantly stared at the person he was talking to, it might end up being a bit unnerving. made clear by the following things that leave the other man's mouth. the chains are certainly something though! ]

[ Prompto has a point - Lestat knows all too well how much some people don't like a big shindig being thrown in their honour, but that isn't to say he understands their reasoning, though; this is all coming from the guy who very recently threw a party for his lover knowing fullllll well he'd hate it, so. ]

[ He raises his eyebrows, his expression somewhere between impressed and incredulous. ]

Not on purpose! It just sort of happened? Zero outta ten though. Would not recommend spending any time in a place like that for any reason.

[ it hadn't been fun, and even if prompto's not as brave as some people he knows, he'd somehow managed to make it through. but never again!!! he's done with haunted houses for the next forever. ]

Well, yes, you'd be fair in that recommendation. I'm picking up a trend, though, aren't you? None of the places that seem to open sporadically in this place ever bode too well for the people here. Except the fairground, I suppose. That wasn't too traumatic, aside from a couple of close calls in the Tunnel of Love and someone falling off the Ferris Wheel.

At least the Haunted House lived up to its name. It was very in-keeping with the season.

[ He doesn't seem too cut up about it, so clearly he's in the minority of people who didn't have the worst time this month. ]

Oh yes, I think any free will we convince ourselves that we have in this place is most certainly an illusion. If they truly wanted us to be free here, we'd at least know who or what is responsible. We'd be able to make the choice to be here, for one thing.

But yes, I suppose I am, in a way. I don't lead what you might call a typical life — which is a good thing, really, as I get bored terribly easily. If I don't have anything to do, I often find it hard to resist looking for trouble.
