I've got some big news, everyone. Could be the start of things happening directly to us instead of around us, so there's one point for experiment. Or drokking entertainment.
I woke up handcuffed. Standard issue, nothing special. On all levels they shouldn't be, but I've tried everything. And they are not. coming. off.
I know nobody came in while I was sleeping. And unlocking them isn't about skill, don't waste your time implying that it is. I’d like to know if somebody could find it in their gorgeous generous neighborly heart to bring a hacksaw. I’ll even take a sledgehammer and a spike if you have a VERY delicate touch and someone to vouch you’re not a serial killer

Whenever Wrench gets there, it's oddly eerie and empty, as with all buildings in this place. Your bog-standard auto shop; grey-washed concrete floors and husks of cars hoisted in the air at head-height. Parts and tools strewn about, as if put down by an absent-minded worker and forgotten on permanent lunch break. Plenty of bullshit lying around, in other words.
But - there's signs that it's occupied. The fact that the side door's been kicked in, for one. And then around the corner, hidden from sightlines behind a rather large truck, the almost imperceptible clink of a short chain, metal lightly scratching on metal. Looks like macho man randy savage is in.]

[ Anyway, Wrench finds himself at the mouth of an auto shop a mere fifteen or so minutes later DO NOT JUDGE HIM (zing) he needed to get some more smokes. Also: what were the odds that they both bunked up in a fucking garage. More fun things to do fun things with!! Fellow Wrenches! First, though. Dramatic entrance time!! ...It's fine, Rico keeps his cool. He closes his eyes VERY briefly, before getting ready to face what turns out to be a talkative punk with a limp. Rico doesn't seem at all taken aback by Wrench's attire - or mask. Just a quick up-down evaluation, attention lingering at the hollow of his throat and the tattoo there. He could take him, easy. And besides that - finally somebody's dressed like a normal person around here. And so Rico's defenses correspondingly drop.]
Could be better, sweetiepie, [he says with an easy, breezy smile, leaning into the joke as he turns to talk to the guy at a better angle. The saccharine words sound completely at odds with his deep growl of a voice. The fact that he's white-knuckling the metal digging into the pad of his thumb shows too much for comfort, so he puts that down with a very light clink.] But it's nice that you asked.
