So, first question: is there already a clinic arranged by someone here? Have there been any injuries on top of there being a willing killer out there? Illnesses or whatever else. I can probably help you, even a little.

Second question: who has been here since the start of this whole mess of being trapped in a part of this city? Ideally, I'd like someone who can be informative, but I'm not overly picky.

Sadly, I lack any surgical equipment, so let's hope that it isn't needed, hm?

You haven't been able to find any in the surrounding stores? Though I suppose those might be a bit too specialized for the average pharmacy...

Plenty of first aid kits and the like, but if someone needs surgery we'll need to get creative.

I can create anything I have a functional understanding of, to a point. Or—could, I suppose.

I haven't been able to utilize that power since arriving.

Not at all? I was under the impression that powers were diminished quite a bit, but not completely gone.

Chalk it up to differences between universes. It seems as though certain energies and forces that exist where I'm from no longer exist here.

Still a factor I'm going to have to adapt to. I've seen another dimension, but another universe... well, I suppose that's just a similar step, in a way.

Regardless, I'm sorry you're lacking your usual gifts. They would be priceless here.

Mind telling me about this other dimension you've seen? It's always worth learning about different experiences, even if it might not help us get out of this place.

It'd do nothing to help anyone to learn about it. But I will say that it was a dimension seemingly constructed or affected by an Old God. It was unpleasant as hell.

Imagine an apartment building and its layout in the real world. In this dimension of this god's, it was more or less structured the same way, but there were many things inside that didn't make sense. It wasn't made of the same material, there were monstrosities, and devices that had no clear purpose.

When you've been through as much as I have, you learn to take things in stride.

Sorry to bring up unpleasant memories though. It certainly sounds unpleasant as hell. I take it you were able to escape eventually? Or were you brought immediately here?

Oh, we were able to find our way out. Eventually. But we'd end up in that forsaken dimension a few more times. I haven't decided if it's as bad as the rest of that shitty town Prehevil or worse.

...Hmm, maybe a little worse. Prehevil probably wasn't always a complete hellhole. Just mostly.

How are you liking this place compared to the rest? Or is it too soon to say?

This place might as well be a utopia by comparison. I'm not saying I like it or anything, but if you were to compare the pros and cons, it's pretty obvious.

Let's hope things stay that way for the time being.

[ spooky though their mysterious circumstances are, it's definitely nice to not have to worry about being attacked by strange monsters or needing to worry where their next meal is coming from. ]
