[Specifics tbd, but there's a drunk Midnight involved and he doesn't have a shirt and might've lost his pants. he's fucking naked.
But for now.]
a guy lost his clothes to the washer. anybody saw a pink shirt?
[Attached is a picture of Midnight. I have no fanart, so you must imagine this guy: no shirt, Jojo-posing, wearing a pink feathery thing, drunk, fly open.]
and here's the guy who lost his stuff

did you mean to take that literally? it's very endearing either way.

But you're sharp for a man on drink. Where did you get these drinks? And how did you manage to lose all of your clothes? I have questions!

my critical thinking skills are usually quite adequate, but i forgive you for thinking they may have taken ta hit. you are correct. they have. :(
do answer the questions:
drinks: from the store
clothes: the washing facilities here occasionally steal clothes
i realize these answers may be inadequate. i do alpologize, but i am an open book. ask away!

Well. Were the drinks good, at least?

[ This is a bit rambly, given that it's spoken and that Midnight is very wasted, but what follows is Midnight rambling off a short list of every alcoholic beverage he's tried since coming to the city, complete with names, a description of labels (where he remembers them — he's still drunk, and keeps repeating that whenever he doesn't have answers), his personal thoughts on the taste and quality of each, and where he acquired the ones he does remember clearly. ]
I do apologize that it's mostly beer, by the way. I don't like to try wine or champagne anywhere other than with seated company, and I was spending most of my first few days walking around and getting acquainted with the city. I'll be starting with the wines next, or champagnes if an appropriate occasion to celebrate presents itself first.

And why must you apologise for a list of beers? That's a beverage with certain kinds of depth no matter where you go, and even some of the less savoury ones offer a new experience each time.
I hadn't thought the beers in this place would be so creative, to be entirely honest. Who thought they ought to mix avocado and honey? And the 'banana split chocolate stout' truly tastes of banana?
It's fascinating to hear that not only has technology seemed to advanced in a place like this, but they haven't neglected innovations in other areas as well. And you say these drinks are in stores? And they're cold?
audio;
Yes, cold, yes in stores. If you're not from somewhere with the level of technology that supports mass refrigeration, I think you're in for a lovely surprise at your local grocery store.
[ Aw, this person sounds so excited. Midnight is very excited about drinks too. ]
I'll be honest, I've never tried a banana split chocolate stout myself. The selection of IPAs in my world tend to stay limited within the boundaries of the nation that support it. It's mostly the Leithanien and BolĂvarian liquors that get exports, and even then the selection is finer wines that get snatched up by the bourgeoisie fairly quickly...
[ A sad sigh. ]
Still, the variety here seems quite good. Just a bit... hm, personalityless when it comes to the more generic, cheaper brands. As though a machine taught a machine how to brew. Think it might be the city, to be honest.
I guess also technically audio, though it's more across the room than anything else;
I've got a bottle from back home if you ever wanna try something new.
[And now it goes wait. Shut up. But it's too late now!]
audio;
[ He turns back to his terminal. ]
Hear that, Kaveh? Wine from other worlds. What a place, eh?
fuck, audio.
Would you? A vintage from another world? Oh, by the name of the Lesser Lord, is there anyone more benevolent than you?

But that's the future. For now?]
Yeah, sure, I'm at-
[He says some directions to the apartment building he's staying at with Dimitri, a general idea of where he is.]
Stop by sometime?

And don't get me started on the lack of personality in this city! There hasn't even been a single moorish arch my eyes can see, and those tall building columns could use more personality than whatever their designers gave them.
Have they never heard of a sconce? The weather seems mild, so they can't even blame it on the upkeep!
My apologies, you've sparked something in me that I've been wanting to say for some time! If one lives in a city designed without soul, one will sooner be soulless!
[ ... ]
I'm going to go get wine.
audio;
Well, enjoy the wine. Let me know what you think. Please, I'd love to know. I promise I have larger thoughts about everything, I just, you know. Very drunk.

Have a safe night, mm? And remember to drink lots of water; and lay down on your side, not your back. It will help with the morning after.

[ Very warm, very sincere, very, very smushy and gross. Drunk men. Drunk men. ]
