hey. bumped into people around here looking for others to do stuff with, like sports, hanging out, etc. was thinking we could share what hobbies we have and maybe find people to do stuff with. or even just chat about whatever.

i visit the gym for muscle training with a friend, go running with another (who should talk about that). used to skateboard and even played soccer years ago. i know karate if anyone else does it. and a sensei who won't mind teaching if anyone's interested.

so, yeah. you into fashion, music, or just want to talk about something with people, could be fun. find out if anyone else is really into big fluffy birds called chocobos

I realize it can be quite ironic given our current circumstances. [ they are also in a psychological thriller of sorts, aren't they? ]

I enjoy Kafka a lot.

kafka's the bug guy, right? meta-something? i read that in school years ago but not the whole thing

and i don't think any of us read media we think we're going to end up in. unless you're into how-to books

Metamorphosis. His works fuse realism and surrealism. Not everyone enjoys his works since they feel absurd to many.

And I suppose that is true.
Although I do read many how-to books as well.

yeah? i was reading about karate's history and fitness for obvious reasons. i stick a lot to nonfiction. read about okinawa and bonsais for a while - i had to take care of some at an old job. home repairs and books on electrics.

you just read to read or did you pick up anything for a hobby?

I read a little bit about karate as well. And other sort of fights.
Are you into fitness a lot?

I mostly just read. I'm not good at sports or anything else. I suppose I like to make coffee too.

Perhaps you can continue here. I wonder if there is anyone around who knows karate as well?

I do. I know how to make a few things like cute bunnies and cats, and dogs. And plants, of course. It's fun to do, and also relaxing.

haven't heard anything from anyone, but my sensei is here. actually didn't know he was here to begin with - it's easy to miss people if you don't think to look for them.

that's pretty cool, actually. you'll have to show me sometime. i've never seen anyone do it in person, just in photos people post online.

I'm glad you have someone here, though. Even if it's your teacher, it's a familiar face and that's less lonely, I think.
