Different worlds? Okay. Still, I gotta see what I'm working with here since the last time I was in a place with people from whatever universe was at 1 AM at the coffee shop and everyone had the grand idea to suddenly order Neapolitan frappuccinos. So here's how I'm going to narrow down and categorize all of you for my sake.
First off, how do you pronounce GIF? With a 'g' or a 'j'
Answer carefully 😉😉😉
(and if you don't get it, don't worry about it, you just get sorted into the other category)

Why, how do you pronounce it? [Is he deliberately being a shithead? Oh, just a little bit <3]
I'm curious about this "Neapolitan" frappucino, though. Was it like the ice cream, with layers of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavoring in a suspension somehow, or something else? Because that actually sounds delicious.
[He kind of wants one now. Or maybe just some ice cream. Binghe! Put your boots on, we're going out for a midnight snack.]

[ Helly is not entirely sure what a GIF is, but she's not going to admit that. It has a 'g' in it, why would it be a 'j'? This is the kind of pointless debate she can get behind. ]

I'm happy to go along with the majority in pronouncing it with a hard g if that makes it easier.

Since it starts with one.
[ are they called GIFs, specifically, where he's from? don't ask me, but the answer is Right There for him anyway. ]
And... I'm not sure if I read your post right...
Was that other universes coming to you in a coffee shop an actual thing that happened?
It's hard to tell with text, but you wrote it so casually...
[ that's like, kind of familiar? and also not? not sinclair just completely shrugging off the question of the century "gif vs jif" for something as inconsequential as the MULTIVERSE, please. ]

I offer my answer, though it doesn't require much consideration simply because it's neither way. I've never had to pronounce that word. As far as I am aware we don't have those where I am from. Although I am sure that I am not the first person who has never come across that term previously. However, if you have the time would you care to explain what a GIF is? Also what those Neapolitan frappuccinos are?
